Lisa has been planning and designing weddings throughout the Midwest for fifteen years. In those fifteen years, Lisa and her team have traveled to the lakes of Northern Minnesota to wineries in Wisconsin, from the heart of Minneapolis to the docks of Okoboji, and everywhere in between.

Prior to launching Johnny and Dottie Events, Lisa began her career designing corporate events, managing contracts, and streamlining operations for the corporate world, but knew in her heart she longed for something more.  In 2006, she opened her doors to wedding planning in the Minneapolis area and in 2010, relocated to Southern Minnesota where she was raised as a child; in turn to raise her own three children. That same year, Lisa added wedding design and floral design to Johnny and Dottie Events offerings, providing the best streamlined and detailed services within one design house.

​Her Floral studio is nestled into her 1924 brick home, where flowers from local floral farmers are abundant and there is never a lack of good coffee and Tony Bennett music.
